In 2001, collaboration began with Dr. Joel Matta to develop a surgical table for use in complex trauma procedures and the anterior approach for total hip arthroplasty – a revolutionary method of hip replacement at the time that greatly accelerated recovery times and improved surgical stability. This collaboration led to the introduction of the ProFx® Trauma Table followed by the introduction of our popular Hana Orthopedic Surgery Table.
